The journal Migration Politics, hosted by the University of Continuing Education Krems, invites scholars at all career stages to submit paper proposals for the 2026 in‑person residency taking place in Krems, Austria, from 28 September to 2 October 2026. This year’s thematic focus, “Migration Politics and Violence,” seeks to explore the diverse ways in which migration dynamics intersect with structural, political, and community-level forms of violence. Selected participants will join an intensive week of scholarly exchange, feedback, and manuscript development with the journal’s editorial team and fellow researchers.
