Migration Politics invites proposals for its virtual residency on “Migration Politics and Political Agency”, taking place from 18–22 January 2027. This residency seeks innovative research that theorizes political agency in migration contexts or empirically examines how diverse actors exercise agency within migration governance.
The programme offers selected participants an intensive, week-long online exchange with fellow scholars and Senior Editorial Fellows, including presentations and in-depth feedback sessions aimed at strengthening manuscripts. We welcome proposals that demonstrate theoretical and methodological rigor, present original contributions to scholarly debates, and are based on completed data collection (if empirical).
